The Spirit of Christmas

Edit: As I was making cookies last night, my mixer decided it was done.  Gratefully it was a double batch so I got a lot done still.  I am borrowing a stand mixer from somebody for the remainder of the holiday season.

  1. Everyone is weird because everyone is different. Embrace weirdness because regardless of what you think of Mormons, we can all say they are different. Look at how Russians celebrate… I encourage you to Google Ded Moroz and his “interesting” relationship with the Snegurochka. Don’t feel bad about the Kwanza thing… I don’t know much about it either. But I love Hanukah. When my son is a little older I’ll teach him about it. It’s just too hard to compete with that lovable bearded man. Do you ever watch friends… I am constantly plagued with the idea that I will have to dress up as a giant armadillo to get him excited about Judaism and fail. Purim is a better holiday for kids anyhow, it’s the Jewish Halloween and carnival holiday where you are encouraged to make too much noise. Oh here is a clip that your opener reminded me of because after doing the whole routine Lucy realized there was no film in the camera.
