Challenge 5: Personal Perspective
blog challenge: the inter-perspective you. we see ourselves in a certain perspective. others see us in a different perspective. somewhere in the middle is the truth. how do we see the truth?
to become that perceptive is a very difficult thing to do.
it's just something I've been pondering about; especially since i've been unemployed. i have a perception of myself that is full of confidence, drive, determination, expertise, etc. but for some reason i can't convey that confidence to the interviewer. so my wonder is, what am i exhibiting that is turning them off.
that's the dilemma. when things are going not quite so right, what are we putting on display that others are seeing even though we feel like we are full of confidence

Advice
the choices are
1) ignore it
2) get depressed about your flaws
3) admit it, pray about it and determine what needs to change.

Anti-Mormon and other unkindness
"I cannot read everything that’s been said
here because it’s a lot and seems to be somewhat redundant in that you each
have what you consider an infallible truth… nobody here is changing their minds
or learning anything. The truth is that
no matter what anybody says, you will simply come up with some other argument.
This is what I do not understand. Why is it that anybody places so much energy
into being against another religion? Why
would you simply not teach your own religion rather than finding fault in
another? Unless that is your religion,
but then I ask, why?
God is love, the greatest commandment is to
love God, and the second is love thy neighbor.
What you do to your neighbor you do to God, this includes anger, hatred,
contention, cruelty, judgment as well as service, love, generosity, the
expression of kind words and charity.I simply don’t understand a Christian’s logic in having negativity toward ANY other religion. We are all individuals and we all make mistakes and say things we should not, but first, those mistakes are between that individual and God and second, those people are not dedicating any aspect of their lives to such unkindness."

Nothing really important.
.
Another thing I've noticed is that I have very little drive right now. This may or may not be related to the same thing, but I doubt it. I'm all about goals and striving for them, but my momentum has slowed down a bit. BTW, back problems prevented me from continuing on as a server. I'm disappointed, but something will work out
